Parent Visitor Expectations 

·   At any time during an event where you are allowed to be with your child/student, we ask that there be a limit of only 4 people, this includes smaller siblings towards the count. 

·   You cannot park, at any time in the circle drive due to staff needing to get out of the parking lot, even if it is at lunch time. 

·   Parents are never allowed to walk with their child/student back to their class – please bring them to the office with you when you check out and we will make sure they connect with their class safely. Parents cannot roam the halls at any time, this includes private Suzuki/ Orchestra lessons and any other parent activity at Milam.  This is to ensure the safety of all our students.  

·   Students are only allotted 15 minutes to eat and 15 minutes for recess.  Parents need to be mindful of others by only spending 15 minutes to eat with their own child so that other parents can enjoy lunch as well. 

·   Parents please be mindful of your child/ students’ lunch times.  We have too many parents heading out to the seating area too early and not allowing space for the parents that have lunch at that scheduled time. 

·   It is important to model the ECISD dress code, but also the code of conduct in order to remain and keep a positive example for all students.  Leading by example is very important.
