HOUSES OF MILAM

Our House Mascots are mythical creatures of west texas!!

We will use our Class Dojo - House Points System - to track house points!!

*You will need to create a class in Class Dojo and an Administrator will need to invite you!!

House System Need to Knows...

**KEEP IT SIMPLE**

1.) Every month we will announce the House Point Leader and we will give that HOUSE a party in the cafeteria, gym, or on the playground!! 

2.) We will also use our House Point System for Field Day and to encourage good behavior and teamwork amongst our staff and students!! 

3.) During the first week of school...teachers will find time during their day to sort students into houses - using a sorting system identified by the teacher. 

4. ) The teacher must sort their classroom so that the houses are represented as evenly as possible. 

5.) Make sure the students know the defining characteristics of their house and their house mascot. 

6.) Teachers assign points to houses using Class Dojo. 

7.) Teachers can give points for a variety of positive behaviors and interactions...use your best judgement when assigning points and give the point value you feel matches the action. 

8.) We would like for staff and students to wear their house shirts on Thursday's and on House Party Days.
