Registration Process
Dual Credit Process-Current/Existing Students
SPRING Dual Registration- Existing students can see Ms. Perkins or Ms. Green in V-Den for Registration Forms. New students must contact your Alpha/Den Counselor PHS Counselors & Principals located in C-6 for registration packets.
Once Odessa College or UTPB provide us with "Proof of Enrollment Receipts", then your Alpha-Den Counselor will make the appropriate changes to your high school schedule to reflect the dual credit courses in which you have been enrolled in through either Odessa College or UTPB.
Dual Credit Process- New Students
Students who are NEW to our dual credit program will need to review our College Credit Opportunity Presentation
Apply for Odessa College Dual Credit Admissions online at odessa.elluciancrmrecruit.com/Apply/Account/Create?returnUrl=%2FApply%2FApplication%2FApplication
Answer "YES" when asked if you are applying as a dual credit student. Be Sure your complete the ENTIRE application and hit submit. TIP: MUST INCLUDE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER in the application. (LEAVE BLANK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SSN#) This will help expedite the application and identify you as a student.
Must meet TSIA2 Exemptions in order to enroll in Dual Credit. Below are the Dual Credit TSIA Exemptions:
EOC Algebra I- Must score a 4000 + and have passed Algebra II to be exempt from the Math section of the TSIA for DUAL CREDIT.
EOC English II- Must score 4000 + to be exempt from Reading & Writing sections of the TSIA for DUAL CREDIT.
PSAT/NMSQT- Must score 460 + on the Reading/Writing Portion; Must score 510 + on the Math Portion to qualify for DUAL CREDIT.
ACT- Composite score of 23, with a 19 in Math and/or English exempts from Reading/Writing & Math sections of the TSIA for DUAL CREDIT.
SAT- Minimum score of 480 in EBRW (Evidence Based Reading and Writing); Minimum score of 530 in Math

Students who DO NOT meet any of the above criteria will not be eligible to enroll in dual credit. Students who have completed both steps above may continue onto the next processing step.
Complete enrollment forms and return them back to your School Counselor for processing. Odessa College or UTPB will process the enrollment forms and we will mail your dual credit bill for payment.
Payments for dual credit courses are to be paid upon receipt to either Odessa College or UTPB student accounts office. ECISD does NOT accept payments for dual credit courses.
New (Dual Credit) Students-
Odessa College courses are $165.00 per 3 hour courses and $200.00 per 4 hour course. (Please note these fees DO NOT INCLUDE book/resource fees.) The book/resource fees will depend on the course in which you choose to enroll in for that semester.
UTBP Courses are $100.00 semester per credit hour. (Example: English 1301 course would cost $300.00 per semester) Please note these fees DO NOT INCLUDE book/resource fees.

New Students will be provided with their login information to Blackboard and Student Email through both institutions. Students will be responsible for login into their accounts and accessing their dual credit courses.
