WEEKLY UPDATE
Good afternoon,
What a fantastic first week back we’ve had in Reception! The children have absolutely loved learning all about Bonfire Night and the story of Guy Fawkes. We’ve been super creative this week, making some dazzling bonfire and firework pictures — the classroom has been full of colour and sparkle!
In Phonics, we’ve been busy learning new digraphs and practising our tricky words. The children have shown such determination and enthusiasm — well done, everyone!
In Maths, we’ve been exploring the ideas of more, fewer, and equal, using fun hands-on activities to help us compare different amounts.
It’s been a brilliant start to the new half term — we’re so proud of how hard the children have worked already!
On Thursday 13th November we are inviting all the Team to bring their teddy bear to school as we will be continuing our learning about charities and linking this with Children in Need.
Please find this weeks home learning attached. Don't forget to check Tapestry for home learning and more information about our learning.
Thank you for your continued support.
