Good afternoon,
We have had an action packed week in LKS2 this week! We have had two fun-filled, creative days this week with a DT Day looking at 3D clay models and an Art Day looking at paper mache! During our DT Day we used a Computer Aided Design (CAD) programme to design a 3D clay model of either an urban, rural or coastal settlement and then used our design to create a real model. In our Art Day we finished off our first topic of the year by using paper mache to make a house that could go in a settlement. In English, Guided Reading and Maths we have practiced some key skills to grow our tool box of knowledge and skills. Finally, thank you so much to everyone who has supported our donations drive for Sleepsafe, you kindness will make a huge difference to someone in need! The children have shown real empathy and understanding towards our charity focus of homelessness and have taken real pride in their campaign and can’t wait to share with Sleepsafe our donations!
