Good afternoon,
Teams Loxley and Calder have had another super week and have been working hard on developing their partner talk. They have also really enjoyed our DT and languages day today.
Next week:
On Friday, we have our trip to Bagshaw Museum.
English: We will be continuing our adventure story and focusing
Maths: We will be continuing our learning on decimals.
Curriculum: We will be continuing our topic on ancient Egypt and looking at what impact pharaohs had on society.
PSHE: We will be thinking about respect and responsibility at break times.
Science: We will be continuing our new topic on light and looking at how light travels from a source into our eye?
P.E is now every Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).
Homework will be set this week.
If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework.

Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.
Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed.
Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.
Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
