Good afternoon,

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday.

The children began the Summer term on Monday with exciting 1960s workshop run by Dantastic Education. Lot's of fun was had by all and the children really enjoyed it.

In Maths next week the children will be learning:

Year 1 Maths

The children will be halving numbers and using their knowledge of doubling and halving to find near doubles and near halves. 

Year 2 Maths

 The children will be focusing on shapes, learning about polygons and their properties. They will be investigating how polygons can be joined and folded to form 3D shapes. This will then lead onto learning about 3D shapes and their properties.
