Good afternoon,
This week in Geography we predicted which physical and human features are located in Poland and the United Kingdom and compared the similarities and differences. In Science, we planted grass seeds using different variables and predicted which plants will be most successful, we cannot wait to watch them grow! In English, we began our non-chronological report all about Polish culture by researching Polish food, religion and football.
Creative Curriculum - Next week we are continuing our topic of ‘What’s life like in Poland?’ and we are going to compare how similar Poland’s settlements are to the UK.
English - We are writing our non-chronological reports on Polish culture, including adjectives and apostrophes.
Maths Year 3 - We are continuing our topic on multiplication and looking at the relationships between the 3 and 9 times tables.
Maths Year 4 - We are focussing on multiplicative relationships and exploring how making the factor or dividend 10 or 100 times the size affects the product or quotient.
PE Year 3 & 4 - All LKS2 have PE on Tuesday and Friday and need to come in their PE kits on these days.
PSHE Year 3 - We are continuing our new topic ‘Relationships’ and looking to know how to express my appreciation to my friends and family. We will also look at how to identify and put into practice some of the skills of friendship.
PSHE Year 4 - We are continuing our topic ‘Relationships’. This week we are looking at knowing how to tell you about someone we know that we no longer see because they have died, and knowing we can remember people even if we no longer see them because they have died.
