Good afternoon,
This week the Year 3s thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Murton Park! It was really fun to bring our learning to life and live a day as a Roman soldier. The Year 4s still have this to look forward to on the 8th June! In English, we wrote our independent diary extract from the perspective of our character Tranio on the day he escaped from Mount Vesuvius’ deadly eruption. In Science we set up an investigation into what plants require to grow which we will monitor for the next couple of weeks. We are looking forward to seeing how each one will grow when it is missing a key requirement for growth (eg. water, light). The Year 4s have also been working hard on their Times table fluency, getting ready for their upcoming MTC check at the start of June (w/c 7th June), they have made some fantastic progress with their recall speed and are really competitive at knowing their facts.
