Good afternoon, 

The children have had a great week enjoying time in their new teams, watching or performing at Staynor Stars and participating in Sports Day! 

Next week:

English: We will be writing a short narrative including speech.

Maths: We will be continuing to look at converting units of measure

Curriculum: We will be looking at how the industrial revolution advanced technology. 

Science: The children will be learning about how nutrients and water travel around our body.

PSHE: The children will be thinking about how media can promote certain body types.

Homework will be set this week.

If children cannot access the internet at home, sheets can be requested for homework. 

Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.

Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed. 

Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.

Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
