Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon,

So, the children have had their final week of teaching before their SATs next week. They are all very ready to sit them. We are very proud of how hard they have all worked.

The children are appearing very calm, but please continue to reassure them that all anybody wants is for them to try their best. We have chatted with the children around the importance of having a good night's sleep to ensure they are well rested.

Next week, breakfast will start at 8:15. The children need to enter school through the main office door rather than our classroom door. We will have a calm start to the day so that children feel well settled.

The children have papers each day: Monday is Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation, Tuesday is Reading, Wednesday is Arithmetic and Maths Reasoning Paper 1 and Thursday is Maths Reasoning Paper 2.

The rest of our days will comprise of sport and art to ensure the children have an enjoyable week.

There will be no homework set next week.
