Good afternoon,

The children have had such a great week this week. They thoroughly enjoyed the DT day and they amazed us with their circus skills!

Next week we will begin our new topic 'What was life like when Queen Victoria ruled'. 

In Maths next week the children will be learning:

Year 1 Maths

The children will be continuing to look at teen numbers. They will be looking at odd and even numbers within 20 and they will also be practising doubling numbers 6-9 and then halving the result. We will end the week by looking at how we can use our knowledge of addition and subtraction within 10 to add and subtract within 20.

Just a reminder to send your child to school on Friday with their book bag including their reading book, reading record and super spellings book.
