Good afternoon,

We hope you enjoy the bank holiday weekend and will see you ready for another exciting week in school on Tuesday!

Next week is our whole school 'Learn through week' which will focus on 'Master of the Art's. 

On Thursday the children will be taking part in an exciting Circus Skills workshop so don't be surprised if the children come home experts at spinning plates!

Year 1 Maths

The children will continuing to look at teen numbers and they will be using their knowledge of 10 and a bit to solve problems. 

Spanish

Miss Schofield has asked us to share with you a song the children have been learning in Spanish. Their current topic in Spanish is families and they have been learning how to sing 'Baby Shark' using their Spanish voices. Lots of them have loved singing this and have asked for the link to the song so they can practice at home!

Just a reminder to send your child to school on Friday with their book bag including their reading book, reading record and super spellings book.

Also as the weather is getting warmer and the children are taking their jumpers off more, please check your child's jumpers have their names in them.
