Good afternoon,
This week in Creative Curriculum we had our Polish day, it was incredible to have a day dedicated to Polish culture. We listened to a story, created a Polish flag, tasted Polish food, danced a Polish folk dance and painted a Pisanki egg. In Science we dissected lillies and looked at the parts of the plant, we then focussed on the pollination process. In English, we started our research for our independent non-chronological report all about Poland, where we have chosen our favourite 3 sections to write about.
Creative Curriculum - This week in Geography we are learning about whether Poland is similar to the Uk and other European countries.
English - We are going to be continuing our independent non-chronological report on Poland.
Maths Year 3 - We are continuing our new topic of symmetry. We will be exploring the symmetry of regular and irregular polygons.
Maths Year 4 - We are continuing our coordinates unit and will be describing the translations of polygons on a grid.
PE Year 3 & 4 - All LKS2 have PE on Tuesday and Friday and need to come in their PE kits on these days.
PSHE Year 3 - We are continuing our new topic ‘Relationships’. This week we are looking at ways to keep ourselves safe online. We will also explore how to listen to and show respect for the views of others both on and offline.
PSHE Year 4 - We are continuing our topic ‘Relationships’. This week we are continuing knowing how to tell you about someone we know that we no longer see because they have died, and knowing we can remember people even if we no longer see them because they have died.
