Good afternoon, 

The children have had a fantastic week showcasing their learning about the Victorians and next week we have created some special challenges so the children can show off their understanding further. 

Coming up next week: 

English- The children will finish their big write diary entry focusing on using conjunctions. They will then share these with Year 5. 

Maths - 

Year 1 will be learning about the days of the week as well as practising telling the time to the hour using o’clock and to the half hour using half past. 

PSHE-

Year 1 will be focusing on how to stay safe over the summer holidays. This will include learning about road safety and who they can speak to if they are worried during the holidays. 

There are no spellings this week and there will be no book change next week due to it being the end of term. 

Please send a carrier bag in with your child next Friday for them to bring any work home in.
