Team HUMBER (year 6)

Good afternoon, 

Team Humber have enjoyed writing about their tourism leaflets about Greece. 

Next week: 

Next week is a Learn through Week based on influential people.

English: we will be writing biographies about an influential person. 

Maths: we will be learning about line graphs and pie charts. 

Curriculum: we will be looking at how people have made changes to society and how we can make changes in the future.  

P.E is on Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come dressed in PE kit for the whole day. Children need to wear a pair of plain black or navy blue jogging bottoms or shorts, a plain white t-shirt and a plain black or navy blue hoodie. Children need to wear suitable shoes for PE (trainers or plimsolls).  

Homework will be set this week.

Reading: The children will be expected to read a minimum of 3 times a week, ideally to a grown-up. This needs to be recorded in their reading records.

Spelling: The children will be expected to play a minimum of 5 games of the set spelling rule on EdShed. 

Maths: The children will have a task set on My Maths.

Children are expected to access TTRockstars a minimum of 3 times a week.
