Good afternoon,
This week the teams have written another brilliant setting description, using adjectives, expanded noun phrases and prepositions to describe a landscape. It is already fantastic to see the progress they are making! In History, we drew where Prehistoric people would choose to settle and used map keys to show the physical features. In Science, we continued to look at the five food groups and healthy diets.
Next week:
Curriculum: We will be looking at the question ‘What was life and society like in Prehistoric Britain?’
English: Next week we will be writing another setting description using coordinating conjunctions.
Maths: We will be applying known facts to compose 100 and 1,000.
PSHE:
Y3: To know how to recognise my worth and can identify positive things about myself and my achievements.
Y4: To know that my actions affect myself and others and to know how to care about other people’s feelings and try to empathise with them
