Tutoring Information for Parents/Students:
Please submit a tutor request form. Tutees will be paired up with tutors by the NHS Executive Board.
Each session may not exceed 1.5 hours. No more than 2 hours may be completed in a week. Tutors can provide ten hours of FREE tutoring service after which, the applicant may request to continue tutoring at a rate of $20/hour. Tutoring must be completed at the East Brunswick Public Library (EBPL) or at any of the East Brunswick Public Schools. Tutoring cannot occur at a private residence.
Tutoring Information for NHS Members:
All members are required to complete at least 5 hours of tutoring service.
Tutors are limited to one tutee to distribute tutoring opportunities.
Members must submit their subject and grade level preferences to the NHS Executive Board. NHS members may not tutor in a course they are currently enrolled in. The Tutor Capability Form must be filled before tutors can be paired with tutees. Tutoring assignments will be assigned by the NHS Executive Board.
