The East Brunswick chapter of the National Honor Society seeks to engage students who excel as members of the school community. Upon acceptance into the East Brunswick High School NHS, you are expected to value and uphold the four integral character traits: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.

Scholarship: NHS members should value and honor the education they receive by maintaining their academic record free of academic integrity and disciplinary violations. They are also expected to continue their quest for knowledge.

Leadership: NHS members should strive to be leaders amongst their peers and exert a positive influence in their school and in the East Brunswick communities by reaching out and taking initiative in their communities.

Service: One of the most meaningful ways of giving back to the community is through volunteering. NHS members are expected to complete their required hours of tutoring, club activities and additional service.
