Tutoring Information for NHS Members:

IN ORDER TO GET PAIRED WITH A STUDENT, YOU MUST FILL OUT THE TUTORING CAPABILITIES FORM ABOVE.

Tutors are limited to one tutee to distribute tutoring opportunities.

All members are required to complete at least 5 hours of tutoring service. 

Members must submit their subject and grade level preferences to the NHS Executive Board. NHS members may not tutor in a course they are currently enrolled in. Tutoring assignments will be assigned by the NHS Executive Board.

Each session may not exceed 1.5 hours. No more than 2 hours may be completed in a week. Tutors can provide ten hours of FREE tutoring service after which, the applicant may request to continue tutoring at a rate of $20/hour. Tutoring must be completed at the East Brunswick Public Library (EBPL) or at any of the East Brunswick Public Schools. Tutoring cannot occur at a private residence. 

Please submit your tutoring hour log by the end of each month. ​​​
