Meet Mr. Dietz

Hello!

My name is Mr. Joshua Dietz. I have been teaching 1st Grade at Jefferson Elementary School since the 2013-2014 school year. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, PreK-4th Grade. I later earned my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University.

I'm looking forward to a SUPER year!

As you may or may not be able to tell, I am a huge Superman fan!! I try to emulate Superman in every aspect of my life. He serves as an inspiration to everyone, and I hope to serve just as much of an inspiration to my 1st Graders as Superman is to me! We have a SuperHero theme in our classroom this year. Every student has the potential to be great, and this year we hope to show the world why 1st Grade is SUPER!!!

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am an avid comic book reader and videogame player (I love Mario and Pokemon). I spend many nights out catching Pokemon in Pokemon Go. I also enjoy playing soccer whenever I have the chance! Most of all, I love to eat!
