Hi! My name is Mrs. Everitt and I will be your 4th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher! I am so excited for the fun-filled, busy, and productive year that we have ahead of us.
Let me tell you a little about myself. This will be my 10th year teaching at Macungie Elementary School. I received my bachelor’s degree from Millersville University in Early Childhood Education. I am also certified in Middle Level Education. I earned my Master’s degree in Education with a focus in Classroom Technology through Wilkes University in 2018.
My husband and I live in Alburtis with our very busy three year old toddler, Eli, and our one year old daughter, Emily. Daily walks with Eli and Emily are one of my favorite things to do, too! They also enjoy reading nightly, which is something we love to do together. Some of my other interests include cooking (not always successfully) and baking.
I am thrilled to be your teacher this year and getting to know you better!
Homework for all 4th grade classes is updated daily on a shared Google Doc homework page.
Day 1: Music
Day 2: No special
Day 3: Library
Day 4: Gym
Day 5: Art

Here is a list of some items you will need for 4th grade!
Supply List:
2 packs of wooden #2 pencils (Ticonderoga brand is the best!)
Small pencil sharpener
Erasers
24 count Crayola crayons
12 or 24 count Crayola colored pencils
3 black fine tip permanent markers (Sharpie)
Scissors
4 Elmer’s glue sticks
3 pairs of earbuds or headphones
1 inexpensive stylus for iPad use
A pencil pouch to store the above supplies
Water bottle (Water refilling stations are available, however, the water fountains are still unavailable this school year, so your child will need a bottle each day!)
**NOTE: If your child misplaces any of these supplies throughout the school year, please check in with your child and replace the items.
*Any classroom donations of tissues, disinfectant wipes, and hand sanitizer are greatly appreciated!*
