Kindergarten Supply List
We just may have some FID (Flexible Instruction Days) this year due to inclement weather. Please be sure to keep a pencil box with a sharpened pencil, kid scissors, a glue stick, and a box or crayons at home.
School Items: The following items should be sent to school. Do not label them with your child's name.
8 pack or larger Elmer’s purple glue sticks
4 pack or larger dry erase markers-black (fine-tip Expo Markers)
Label these items with your child's name.
Scissors-kid-sized, blunt-tip (Fiscars work the best. They cut paper rather than tear it, and cutting is a newer skill. It can be very frustrating with out good scissors.)
Change of Clothes – Please put an entire change of clothes (including socks and underwear) in a Ziploc bag labeled with your child’s name. These will remain at school in case of bathroom accidents or spills.
Backpack – large enough to hold a folder, iPad, and larger library books. You would be surprised how kindergarteners insist on bringing home the largest picture books they can find!
Water Bottle-Reusable kind with a straw lid
Headphones- These should be able to plug into an iPad. The kind that go over the head work best. Please show your child how to use them, and talk to him or her about carefully plugging in and unplugging them.
Extra Supplies - We can always use extra glue sticks, dry erase markers, tissues, “good” paper towels, Goldfish individually packaged snack packs (for those days we forget to pack a snack), and pump style hand soap. These donations are always appreciated, but not necessary.
Snacks and Lunch- Students may buy or bring lunch each day. We have time for a small, nut-free snack each day. Students are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle. There are water refill stations throughout the building.
Soft Tissues
Pump Style Hand Soap
Goldfish Crackers (individually packaged snack packs-for those days we forget to pack a snack)
Play Doh-Any Colors, 2oz Containers or larger
