Check out some of our current Tier I "Basic needs"services at EAHS: CIS on the Go, Onsite CIS Clothing Closet and school supplies, Prom/Homecoming Boutique, CIS annual Giving Tree, Partnership with Rebecca's Closet/Family Connections for food donations, Crisis intervention and close contact with Northampton County Dept. of Human services (mental health, C/Y services, probation dept., shelter and basic needs to our families in need.
CIS works on ways to provide preventative services and education on Socio-emotional learning. Each month our focus is to improve school climate, while tackling the stigma of mental illness and creating empathy amongst our students

These are groups which provide opportunities for students to develop skills or nurture positive behavior, while benefitting from the feeling of “Giving Back.” This allows students to effect the school climate and make a change and empower them to make a difference.

Be Part of a Movement!!! Aevidum is an After-school Club: Bi-monthly meeting to find ways to promote suicide awareness and encourage pro-social behavior amongst the school environment. Students attended a district wide consortium to train leaders in the mission to spread the word of kindness within their schools in an effort to tackle the symptoms of Suicide. CIS provides job placement assistance, mock interviewing skills, resume building, college application and financial aid assistance for all case managed students with these goals. CIS also brings college and career initiatives on a school wide basis and offers on-site job recruitment opportunities ,alternative education/career options, and college assistance. We also offer Life skills groups for those in 11th-12th graders. Annually, CIS grants one student in the affiliate an opportunity to win Joan Benner Scholarship of $1500 towards their future plans. over the past 7 years, 4 of our students benefitted from this award throughout the affiliate.
All CIS students have the opportunity to earn a place in our bi-weekly competition , to win prizes for their attendance goal achievement. Each student that came to school for at least 5 days was eligible to be placed in a raffle that would result in prizes, such as gift cards to popular establishments in the area.

CIS has partnered with EASD to provide a bilingual Parent Family Liasion assigned to our district to advocate for our families at parent events, parent training, collaborate with school staff, and support the mission of our program.
