Year 6 Monitors ensure the smooth running of our school. There are two different monitor jobs: assembly/bell monitors and eco monitors.
Assembly/bell monitors
Assembly monitors leave class slightly early to ensure the school hall is set up each day for collective worship/assembly. This is a really important role and includes things like:
putting out benches for Year 6
putting out chairs for staff
taking control of the laptop and music during assembly
ringing the school bell in time for assembly
Eco Warriors
Eco warriors help ensure that we are an as environmentally friendly school as possible. At the beginning of each break time they:
walk the corridor ensuring all lights are turned off once a room is empty
once a week empty recycling bins
monitoring recycling within the school
