Dear Families,

One of the great opportunities that life gives us is to learn something new every day. No matter the age, the place, the weather, there is always something new to explore, discover, reveal, and share. How good it is to be back to school, how good it is to have our students, faculty, and families returning to campus. How good it is to go into the classrooms and see the delight in the eyes of students when they learn something new, notice the joy and warmth of teachers towards students. I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to the new families and welcome them to the community. I am sure that the work carried out by the school in partnership with the family is always successful.

Uma das grandes oportunidades que a vida nos concede é a de aprender algo novo, todos os dias. Não importa a idade, o local, o tempo, sempre há algo novo para explorar, conhecer, desvendar, compartilhar. Como é bom estar de volta às aulas, como é bom ter nossos alunos, professores e famílias retornando ao campus. Como é bom passar nas salas de aula e ver o encanto nos olhos dos alunos ao descobrirem algo novo, observar a alegria e acolhimento dos professores para com os alunos. Aproveito a oportunidade para saudar as novas famílias e desejar as boas-vindas à comunidade. Tenho certeza que o trabalho realizado pela escola em parceria com a família é sempre bem-sucedido.

Our school is celebrating its 65 years anniversary. Our history only proves that we are a community with strong values, solid vision, and a mission that guides us, and keep us committed to the pedagogical and socioemotional development of our students.

Nossa escola está comemorando 65 anos de existência este ano letivo e nossa história só vem a comprovar que somos uma comunidade com valores fortes, visão focada e uma missão que nos guia, sempre comprometidos com o pleno desenvolvimento pedagógico, socioemocional dos nossos alunos.

In our school calendar, on August 20th we will have our “Open House”. The idea is to give the families the opportunity to hear from the teacher a little more about the school curriculum, learning expectations, resources, assessment, supplies used, in short, an excellent opportunity to clarify your questions with your child's teacher.

For the High School families, we will have on August 24th a meeting in which I will talk a little about the Vestibular exam.

No nosso calendário escolar, no dia 20/08 teremos nosso “Open House”. A ideia é que as famílias tenham a chance de ouvir do professor um pouco mais sobre o currículo escolar, expectativas de aprendizagem, recursos, avaliação, materiais utilizados, enfim uma excelente oportunidade para tirar as dúvidas com o professor do seu filho(a).

Vale lembrar às famílias do High School que no dia 24/08 teremos um encontro onde irei aproveitar a oportunidade e conversar um pouco sobre o vestibular.
