Hey 8th grade fam! I love being a part of the amazing WRMS community! I am a long time Austin resident and come from a large Italian family. I completed my BS in Applied Learning and Development at UT Austin in 2003, and I began my career in education as a first grade teacher in Killeen. When I moved home to Austin, I joined the 4th grade team as a teacher at Eanes Elementary, where I spent 7 amazing years. While teaching, I stayed very busy completing my master's degree in Counselor Education at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2015 (Hook 'em Horns!). I have two children that both attended EISD schools K-12. My daughter is in the military, and my son is in college. When I have a free moment, I love to see movies at Alamo Drafthouse, hear live music, travel, and hang with my family. This marks my 11th year as a West Ridge Wildcat- time sure flies when you're having fun!! I can't wait to meet you!
Hey Wildcats! Here's a tiny bit about me: I graduated from LSU and enjoyed being a Special Education teacher for a few years, until I started my own family. After staying home with my three kids (now all teenagers), I decided that I wanted to go back to work, but move from education into mental health. So I went back to school and received my master's degree in social work at The University of Texas. A local Austinie--and Westlake neighbor--I have always been passionate about serving children, and feel so honored to be your School-Based Therapist!
Hello, I am the WRMS 6th grade counselor. I am excited to be a part of the WRMS team. This is my fourth year working for Eanes ISD. Previously, I worked for 14 years at Lake Travis High School and one year at Llano Middle School. I live in Bee Cave, and have a retired husband (yay) and two grown children (yay)! I enjoy hiking and am a Bee Farmer with six working hives.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

7th Grade Counselor
Hi! My name is Ms. Butler, and I am the new 7th grade counselor. I graduated with my Masters in School Counseling from Valdosta State University and have loved being a middle school counselor ever since. I am a recent Texas resident and moved here from Florida, but was born and raised in Georgia. I live with my fiance and my 120 pound black lab named Riley in East Austin. I enjoy going on walks, listening to live music. traveling, and trying out different restaurants around town. I am so excited to be a Wildcat and to meet you all!
