Design Thinkers
6th graders will do an in depth study of the Design Thinking process. We will discuss the process in detail, engage in challenges, and students will have the opportunity to create their own prototypes for a specific purpose and audience. Students will also go through an entrepreneurial process and will showcase their solutions at the end of the year.

Students will need to come to class each week with a charged iPad and a willingness to engage in critical and creative thinking. I will provide most materials needed for activities in class. When working on independent study projects, students may need to provide their own materials.
