Model UN

If you are interested in learning more about global issues, diplomacy, and debate skills, this is the club for you!  Model UN officers from Westlake High School will come to HCMS to guide club members through the process of researching a global issue and parliamentary procedure in preparation for a Model UN Conference.

Students will role play as delegates of the United Nations and simulate United Nations committees through research, public speaking, debating, and writing.  They also work on critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Meetings are held in Room 315 from 4:00-5:00.

Fall 2025 meeting dates: 9/11, 10/9, 10/23, 11/6, 11/20, 12/11

Spring 2026 meeting dates: TBD
