Take your classroom to the NextLevel with Gamification!

Welcome! My name is Heather Marrs and I am an Instructional Coach and former 3rd grade teacher at Eagle Rock Elementary in Southern Oregon. I am an Apple Distinguished Educator. I am also a Seesaw, FlipGrid, and Book Creator Ambassador, and creator of the Oregon EdChat (#OrEdChat).

These kiddos are my why. The reason I teach has changed gradually over the years. I teach because I want to empower others to be life long learners who are confident, curious, creative, and successful community members. I want them to seek to find answers for themselves, ask questions, stand up for themselves, and be self-driven. I teach because I want my children to grow up to be kind, loving, thoughtful, and hard working.

I gamify my classroom because I want learning to be engaging, immersive, and fun! I want to pull in those students who are otherwise unengaged and unmotivated. I want to turn the tables for kids and make school a place they are running to get in!
