Engaging Students/Families Using the MTSS Framework - four part series
Ali Hearn, a National keynote speaker, trainer and coach, will provide four virtual professional development sessions to support regional teachers and their teams (including administrators, clinicians, etc.) in strengthening their overall knowledge and implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework with a specific focus on student/family engagement within a remote setting. This series will explore data, systems, and practices in place prior to the pandemic, current supports in place now, and what a future of effectively supporting our youth and families may look like. The four sequenced sessions will guide participants in developing, identifying and/or strengthening academic engagement and attendance during remote learning within the MTSS model. Each session will focus on a specific tier of support, and the final session will culminate with action planning and next steps, with some work time included.
