Overview:

Each 5th & 6th grade section meets for one trimester and will gain a more in depth understanding of the following units-

• Empathy

• Listening and Communication

• Respect 

• Bullying Prevention

• Friends, Drama, & Peer Pressure

• Dealing with Anxiety 

• Emotion Management and Coping Strategies/Skills

• Problem Solving, Goal Setting and Decision Making

• Alcohol and Drug Awareness and Education 

• Teamwork & Conflict Resolution 

**I'm still working on the plan for 7th & 8th grade on when I will officially meet with them.  We continue to build on the previously mentioned topics as well as high school scheduling toward the end of the school year for the 8th graders.
