Hello and Welcome! 

My name is Mrs. Ashley Bonner and I am the High School Counselor in the Emmetsburg CSD. Additionally, I am the Varsity Softball Coach, High School Track Thowers Coach, HS Behavior Coach, National Honor Society Sponsor, a member of the BLT/DLT team, the Homeschool Liaison, the Homeless Liaison, a member of Generous Hearts, Key Club Advisor, and I am an Iowa Lakes Community College Dual Credit Instructor for Intro to Psychology.

I am from Storm Lake, IA. and attended Storm Lake St. Mary's. After graduation in 2013, I attended Buena Vista University where I played softball for the Beavers. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Educational Studies and Psychology in 2017. Then with my Master of Science in Education Degree in 2019.

My husband, Mr. Gable Bonner is also an educator. He is in his eleventh year teaching with this being his fifth year as an Emmetsburg High School Math Teacher. In addition to teaching, he is an assistant coach for both football and wrestling for the E-Hawks and teaches College Algebra & Trig and Statistics for Iowa Lakes Community College as a dual credit. 

We have been married for eight and a half years and have three children, Maxwell, who is five and a half, Kinnick who is three and a half, and our daughter Adeline who just turned one year old in August.  In our spare time we love spending time with our puppy, Thor, cheering on the Hawkeyes, cooking, traveling, fishing, and exploring new places with our family. 

Being a part of the E-Hawk community is such a blessing and I look forward to a great 2026-2027 school year!
