My name is Lindsay Ames and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year! I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a master's degree in Reading Instruction from Grand Canyon University. 

This is my tenth year teaching and my third year in 3rd Grade. I have also taught kindergarten, first, second, and fourth grade. My heart is in the primary grades as there are so many foundational skills students are learning in those years. I love being part of the beginning of a child's learning journey and watching how much they grow in that short amount of time. 

My husband Chris and I have been together for 16 years and have 5 beautiful children ranging from ages 9 to 22.  We enjoy being outdoors, camping, and spending time together as a family watching movies and playing games. 

This year your student will travel between two teachers in preparation for upper elementary. I will be teaching ELA and Social Studies. Students in my class are part of Group A when referencing the daily schedule.
