Mr. Flies

My name is Paul Flies (pronounced Fleece) and I am looking forward to having a great year as your child's teacher!

This upcoming year will be my 12th as a teacher. I have taught 2nd, 5th, and 6th grades. I attended Iowa State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in elementary education. I knew I no longer wanted to endure the harsh Midwest winters which is how I landed in Arizona.  

In my spare time, I enjoy watching sports with baseball and football being my favorites. I am a huge fan of the Oregon Ducks and Minnesota Twins. My other hobbies include reading, working out, and listening to music.

I take very seriously the role I have in your child's life and will make every effort to build a solid foundation that will ensure continued success in the years to come. I, however, cannot do this alone; I need your help. We both need to be partners in the learning process.
