This course will cover the importance of animal, crop, plant, and food science in the agriculture industry. Topics will include, animal science, greenhouse, crop science, food science, ag processing, and ag careers. This class focuses on hands-on labs and group projects to incorporate real life applications including soil sampling, making various foods, self-designed experiments on plants, and small animal care. Leadership skill development is an integral part of this program and is delivered through FFA activities. Any member enrolled in class is automatically a member of FFA as the two work together to provide an enriching agriculture education program.
