This course will develop students’ understanding of the US and world agriculture industry and will cover knowledge and skills required in operating a business. Topics include communications, marketing, sales, personal finance, product development, trading, imports and exports, and advertising. Students will develop and operate a school cooperative. Careers in the industry will be emphasized. Leadership skill development is an integral part of this program and is delivered through FFA activities. Individualized instruction and learning reinforcement are provided through Supervised Agricultural Experience programs (S.A.E.’s)
