Grace McCrady placing 2nd place at state for medical assisting
The Colorado Student Leadership Conference is held each year as a way for students to expand their knowledge and compete in a diverse selection of healthcare and leadership events. This week-long event in February includes high-level competitions, engaging competitions, facinating exposistions, captivating opening and closing ceremonies, and of course fun learning experiences. With over 80 different competitions to choose from, students get the opportunity to dive deep into a topic of their choice, whether that be medical or leadership related.
This was Durango HOSA's first year competing at state! We had many students compete, with one student - Grace McCrady - placing 2nd overall in Medical Assisting (above), qualifying her for internationals. Emma Ebner placed
