Create an Escape Room

Escape rooms are great ways to review, introduce, or formatively assess material. Create a digital, non-digital (or a combination of both) escape room and earn 1,000 points! Share to the Padlet so that others can see what you've created, and if you have them, post pictures of students trying to escape.

Create a 1-2 sentence scenario to set the scene of the escape. This draws the students into the activity more and lets you structure your questions/activities around the scenario.
Identify the objectives you're hoping to hit. What skills will this be practicing, reinforcing, assessing?
Create puzzles/activities to lead students to escaping. Use props; you can even ask others in the building to be special guests.
Make sure you know how to use the locks and have the lock codes set if necessary. (If you want assistance for this, sign up for a learning appointment.)
