Open the Self Service application
Click the Google category on the left side of the window
On the right side of the window, find and install the policy labeled Google Drive
Once the installation has finished, click the Open button
Once the application has opened, click Get Started
Click Sign In
Enter your Duluth Trading email address and click Next
You will be prompted by the Duluth Sign-In page
Enter your Duluth Email address and click Next
Enter your Duluth Password and click Sign In
Stay Signed In? Click Yes
At the next screen click Sign in
You may close the browser window
Once signed in, you will be prompted with a Walkthrough of Google Drive
When prompted, click Ok to start syncing
Next you will be asked what folders you’d like to sync with Google Drive
Click Next then Next again
Note: Your Google Drive is limited to 250GB, please ensure that the folders you select do not go over that limit
When prompted to choose folders, select Desktop and Documents then click Next
You will be prompted to allow access to each folder, click Allow for each folder
You will be prompted by an information window, click Got it
When prompted by the Back up photos and videos page, click Skip
At the final screen click Open Drive
The files in the selected folders will start to synchronize in the background
If you use the following applications, you may want to add some additional folders to your Drive synchronization: Apple Notes, Apple Stickies, FontAgent
Open the Self Service application
Click the First-Aid category on the left side of the window
On the right side of the window, find and install the policy labeled macOS - Finder - Folders
Once that policy has finished installing, open Google Drive from the system tray in the top right corner of your screen and click Preferences
You may be prompted by the “Take a tour” window, feel free to take the tour if you have not used Google Drive before.
Click the Add folder button
In the Finder window that opens, navigate to your user directory (e.g. /Users/userID/)
Select the folder of one of the additional folders, then click Open (repeat this process for any additional folders you’d like to backup)
Apple Notes = group.com.apple.notes
Apple Stickies = com.apple.Stickes
FontAgent = FontAgent
You will be prompted allow access to this folder, click Allow then click Done in the next window
Once finished adding additional folders, click Save in the bottom right corner of the window
You may now close the Google Drive window, the synchronization will start immediately
