About SAVE’s Emergency Shelter:
SAVE’s (full capacity is 30 beds, however only 18 beds are available due to the pandemic) shelter offers a safe place for women and children fleeing abuse. Residents can stay up to 90 days. If we can’t accommodate you at our shelter, a SAVE advocate will assist you with resources for alternate shelters. Call our 24-hour hotline at (510) 794-6055
Our program is designed to help residents heal and start anew. Services include case management, counseling, parenting, financial literacy, and job-readiness workshops. Program staff can also assist residents with connecting to community resources such as childcare, CalWORKs, SSI, low-income housing, and more.
Every effort is made to ensure that all SAVE services are appropriate and accessible and reflect our clients’ diverse cultures and backgrounds.
