What are you good at?
What interests you?
What kind of work might fit you?
What could you try?
You don't have to have all the answers right now.
WorkAbility I (WA 1) helps DUSD students with an IEP or 504 Plan explore possibilities, discover their strengths, develop career goals, and begin planning for life after high school.
Beginning in mid-October, I will be available to provide individualized support with career assessment, career exploration, first-job planning, job-search guidance, and transition pathway planning.
WorkAbility I (WA 1) is a California transition program designed to help students with an IEP or 504 Plan prepare for life after high school.
WA 1 helps students explore career possibilities, understand their strengths and interests, develop employment goals, and identify pathways toward employment, education, training, and other postsecondary opportunities.
Career planning is a process, not a one-time decision.
Your interests can change.
Your goals can grow.
New possibilities can appear.
WA 1 support can meet students where they are now and help them figure out what comes next.
Sometimes the best place to begin isn't with a career choice.
It's with a question:
“What might be a good fit for me?”
From there, we can explore.

Research jobs of interest
Complete job applications
Prepare for interviews
