WorkAbility provides services and experiences leading to gainful employment to high school students with individualized education plans. Our program facilitates a successful transition to post-secondary opportunities through various instruction, counseling, guidance, and career awareness and exploration.
We provide pre-employment skills training, employment placement, and follow-up for high school students ages 16-22 in special education, who are making the transition from school to work, independent living and post-secondary education or training.
WorkAbility 1 is a joint effort among high schools, community agencies and local business to support students who receive special education services make a successful transition from school to the world of work.

Ohlone College invites graduating high school seniors to take the first step toward their college journey by attending Freshman Days, a special two-day event designed to help new students register early for fall classes, connect with counselors, and explore campus resources.
