[Germany, 2008] This is to certify that Mainul Hossain, Fellow of the Bangladesh Academy of Science, has been chosen in a competition among young scientists worldwide to participate in the 58th Meeting of Nobel Laureates, Germany, June 29th-July 4th, 2008.

[USA, 2015] My Green Belt Certification from Globalfoundries US Inc. which says "The completion of certification acknowledges the technical expertise, managerial skill and application experience necessary to effectively implement Lean and Six Sigma"

[USA, 2015] Spotlight Award : Thank you for for your outstanding support to EPI Team and for the development of 20 nm SiGe inline XRD capability

[USA, 2017] Spotlight Award : On behalf of 12FDX and DTS Team, I would like to recognize MAINUL for his above and beyond support for all the XPS and XRD modeling and optimization he has provided for our team. For both FDSOI and SiGe FinFET projects, we rely heavily on XPS to monitor HKMG as well as Ge%. Mainul works hard (with great attitude also!) to create and optimize all XPS and XRD models we need in order to enable us to reliably monitor the gate stack and Ge% (both itesms are important in improving our Device Performance). Mainul`s Expertise has significantly contributed to the great progress both programs have made to date.

[USA, 2015] Appreciation Award : Mainul Hossain has done an examplary job in working with the 22FDSOI team in setting up metrology to characterize Ge percentage on thin SOI. His hard work and dedication to providing an optimized solution are much appreciated by the Integration team .

[USA, 2015] Appreciation Award : Mainul...I appreciate your help for measuring multiple wafers for tool matching activities.

[USA, 2013] Appreciation Award : You are greatly appreciated for demonstrating excelent support on 20 nm HTP eSiGe metrology development and providing excellent feedback with fast cycle time of learning on the new 20nm eSige 4-stack layer inline XRD measurement that helped us to accelerate the epi chamber qualification for capacity demand.

[USA, 2014] Appreciation Award: You are greatly appreciated for demonstrating great support for XRF and XPS measurement for LPE. I want to thank Mainul for this above and beyond support for XRF and XPS measurement for LPE wafers. We have had some issue with DFF for Aleris and need XRF and XPS for (critical) additional learning. Mainul has (repeatedly) been very helpful in getting these measurements in a timely manner.

ARCHIVES!

[Germany, 2008] With Prof. Brian D. Josephson (Josephson Junction) in The City Theatre Hall, Lindau, Germany,. Josephson won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1973 for his theoretical predictions of the properties of a supercurrent through a tunnel barrier. Brian works on "ghosts and supernaturals" these days!

[Germany, 2008] Listening to Prof. Ivar Giaever-1973 Physics Nobel Laureate for his experimental discoveries regarding tunneling phenomena in semiconductors and superconductors. As he said "Luck is a Necessary Ingredient" to win the Nobel Prize!

[Germany, 2008] Prof. Peter Gruenberg signing an autograph for me on our boat trip to Mainau Island, Germany. He received Nobel Prize in Physics in 2007, for "his discovery of giant magnetoresistance (GMR)." We owe our hard drives to him!

[India, 2006] First poster presentation in life! Presenting to Prof. B. M. Arora at the 8th International Conference on Optoelectronics, Fiber Optics and Photonics held in University of Hyderabad. Prof. Arora is currently a Professor of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay.

[India, 2006] First academic visit to Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India. In front of the MOCVD tool with my mentor, late Prof. Dr. Zahid Hasan Mahmood.

[USA, 2015] Just parked my SUV. I do miss the Upstate NY snow (not always but sometimes) !
