Definition of Terms

Client Satisfaction Measurement Survey (CSMS)

A survey questionnaire that is designed to evaluate the service provided.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

Based on the Republic Act (RA) No. 10912 or the “CPD Act of 2016”, a mandatory requirement in the renewal of professional identification cards (PICs) of all registered and licensed professionals under the regulation of PRC.

CPD Application

Files reviewed and endorsed to PRC by SWIBD as reference to accredit LDIs and calculate the credit units that each participant and resource person will receive.

CPD Completion Report

Files reviewed and endorsed to PRC by SWIBD as proof and documentation of the completion of each activity.

Social Welfare Institutional Development Bureau (SWIDB)

A Bureau in the Central Office that is an accredited CPD provider. It reviews and submits CPD Application and Completion Reports from proponent offices (Field Office and OBS).

Capability Building Section (CBS)

Field Office counterpart of SWIDB that is also an accredited CPD provider. It also reviews and submits CPD Application and Completion Reports from their proponent sections directly to the PRC Regional Branch where they are registered.

Proponents

Offices or sections responsible in submitting CPD applications and Completion Reports which complies with PRC standard templates and requirements.
