Gender and Development in the Workplace: Breaking Stereotypes and Unconscious Biases
In today’s dynamic and diverse workplace, fostering and environment that promotes gender equality and inclusivity is not just a matter of compliance, it is essential for organizational growth, employee well-being, and social justice. Despite advances in gender equity, unconscious biases and deep-seated stereotypes continue to shape workplace culture, influence decision-making, and hinder the full participation of all individuals.
With this, the Learning and Development Section hereby extends its invitation to all primary and/or alternate members of the Gender and Development Technical Working Group to take part in the training program, “Gender and Development in the Workplace: Breaking Stereotypes and Unconscious Biases”, on November 10-11, 2025 within Angeles City.

The Supervisory Development Course – Track 3
Is an advanced program tailored for supervisors and leaders who have completed Tracks 1 and 2. It emphasizes strategic leadership, critical decision-making, performance management, and organizational development to further strengthen supervisory competencies. The course aims to equip participants with advanced tools for managing people, improving systems, and driving organizational results. Ultimately, Track 3 prepares supervisors for higher responsibilities, succession planning, and greater accountability in delivering effective and efficient public service.

The New Employee Orientation (NEO) is designed to introduce newly hired personnel to the agency’s mission, vision, core values, and organizational culture. This program serves as a vital first step in ensuring that employees understand their roles in delivering responsive, inclusive, and compassionate social protection services to the Filipino people.

The Fire Prevention Training and Awareness Session is part of DSWD’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees, clients, and facilities. This training aims to equip staff with the knowledge and skills needed to prevent, respond to, and manage fire-related emergencies.

Basic fire safety principles and common causes of workplace fires
Proper use of fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment
