One of the hands represents FO-NCR while the other represents the different partner stakeholders especially the 17 Local Government Units of the Region as emphasized by the map of NCR. The holding of hands symbolizes cooperation, collaboration, and coordination. The five (5) circles with pictures represent the different hazards present in the Region. Further, the colours of the hands and the background: Red, Blue, and Yellow represents the colours of the flag of the Philippines.
Thus, the logo of Disaster Response Management Division symbolizes the cooperation, collaboration, and coordination of FO-NCR with different partner stakeholders especially with the 17 Local Government Units of the Region in providing effective and efficient delivery of services to the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged individuals, families, groups, and communities before, during and after disaster events and incidents.
