C.3 Documentation
Institutional Development Activity (IDA) is an activity that contributes to the overall development of the organization or the institution such as forum, FGD, consultation, convention; regular project or program-based meetings (or other workshops that are part of overall operations), program review, evaluation or implementation review workshops, and similar activities, meetings of less than eight (8) hours regardless if these were conducted by the DSWD or by other agencies; EXCEPT for activities with specific sessions or modules that are capability building in nature; they shall fall under CBAs.
Capability Building Activity (CBA) is an activity designed to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes or the competence of an organization’s workforce. Among these include but are not limited to Training programs, seminars, workshops, skills enhancement, orientation, training of trainers (TOT), other skills-enhancement activities such as demonstration, tutorial sessions, and the like; hands-on activities of eight (8) hours or more and activities involving transfer of knowledge or transfer of technology.
