Today is National Truth and Reconciliation Day, also known as Orange Shirt Day. We wear orange to honour the children who were taken from their families and to say, loud and clear, that Every Child Matters. This day is about truth. It’s about listening to Indigenous voices, learning about the impact of residential schools, and understanding the ongoing struggles Indigenous communities face. Your call to action today: Take time to listen, learn, and reflect. Attend today’s activities in our community, ask questions, and engage with the stories being shared. Reconciliation begins with awareness—and that starts with you.Thank you for being part of this journey.
