In order to ensure that students/parents/guardians -  EVERYONE - is kept informed, the GFESS Guidance department communicates and shares information using a variety of platforms:

1 –  GFESS Website https://greaterforterie.dsbn.org/

You're here!

2 – GFESS Grade D2L Shells - Click Here

We post announcements in GFESS grade-specific D2L shells. Every GFESS student is registered into one of these "courses" and students need to “pin” the class so that it easily appears on their list of active courses.  Only students can access their D2L account; we encourage students to review this shell with their parents/guardians on a regular basis!

3 – Email - Check your GFESS Email!

Through Aspen, DSBN’s operating system, we can send emails to students and parents/guardians.  Student emails will go to their Google account; parent/guardian emails will go to the address provided on the verification form that was submitted to the main office. If you think you're not getting these emails, please contact the main office to adjust your contact information.

4- GTV Announcements (or text announcements), Classroom visits, Student meetings (our favourites)

Find us on the GTV announcements, in your class, or come by to our Guidance offices - we're here for you!

The content provided on this GFESS Guidance site is for informational purposes. Parents and students should always contact, and speak with, a Guidance teacher when making a decision about changes to program planning.
